Birds of Prey and music with Georgia Farrar - 26th May

SUPER SUMMER SATURDAYS at Westgate continue this weekend (26th May) with music from the fantastic Georgia Farrar (12.30pm - 2.30pm) and The Wise Owl Bird of Prey Sanctuary will be returning for the last time this year (10am - 4pm), so be sure not to miss out! We'll see you at Westgate!

Winnebago at Westgate - 23rd May

The Royal Wedding Saturday 19th May

To celebrate the Royal Wedding Westgate and its shops have been decorated in Union Jack bunting and the Cobalt Tales will play a 'right royal set' between 12.30pm-2.30pm. This wonderful, vibrant duo have played widely throughout the country and are sure to be a hit!

MEET THE SPRING LAMBS at Westgate on Saturday 12th May (10.00am - 3.00pm). Withens Crag Farm will be bringing some of their Spring lambs for you to meet and hold if you wish. Perfect for families and children. Not to be missed!

Free Comic Book Day - Sat 5th May

Doors open at Legacy Comics at 8am. A chance to take home comic books from an enormous range. All free!
We'll have the CALDER VALLEY SCRIBBLERS in the Arcade selling comic books and drawing many awesome things!
And there will be a guest appearance from comic book maestro GEOF BANYARD.
Spiderman will be swinging in to make an appearance and there will be a charity raffle with all the proceeds going to Forget me not Children's Hospice (main prize, a comic book themed cake). It's going to be a blast!...

The Tour de Yorkshire and Friendly Brass Band - Sun 6th May

Friendly Brass Band will be playing in the Arcade (11am - 1pm) to celebrate the start of stage 4 of The Tour de Yorkshire at The Piece Hall. The Tour de Yorkshire will be a fantastic event for the town so make sure you don't miss the start which is scheduled for midday...

Easter Egg Colouring Competition Winner!

Congratulations to Lucia Ambrosi who won our Easter Egg colouring competition. She has won a £50 Westgate Arcade voucher and £50 goes to Copley Primary School. Well done!

Record Store Day - Saturday 21st April

Westgate Arcade's tradition of live music continues this weekend with the appearance of the Johnny Cash tribute band The Folsom Three.The band start their session at noon with a selection of songs by the country music legend as part of Record Store Day sponsored by Revo Records, of Westgate Arcade, Halifax.

Birds of Prey return to Westgate Arcade!

Back by popular demand! The Wise Owl Bird of Prey Sanctuary. Thursday 5th, Friday 6th and Saturday 7th of April. (10.00am - 4.00pm). They will be situated at the top of the Arcade outside Dolly Peg Boutique and Westgate Wine and Cheese. Perfect for families and children over the Easter holidays.

The Bird of Prey experience at Westgate - Saturday 24th February

On Saturday 24th February (10am - 4pm) The Wise Owls Bird of Prey Rescue will be coming to Westgate. Learn about Birds of Prey and handle a Bird of Prey yourself. You are welcome to take photos with a variety of birds in your hand. For all you nature lovers - a fantastic and educational visit for all the family!
