After the huge success of The Wine Barrel, currently situated in The Piece Hall, Jamie and Tyler couldn’t say no when the opening came up at Westgate Arcade.

The Hourglass will have a speakeasy, relaxed atmosphere. Serving cocktails, lagers, ales, spirits, coffees and so much more - you’ll be sure to find something you love.

Jamie said: ‘I’m proud to be expanding into the local community even more - Halifax has such a great family feel and we want to bring more fun and laughter to the area. We're really excited that we were able to open at the perfect time - the jubilee weekend!’

Leeds City Stompers draw the crowds at Westgate!

Wow! What an amazing day at Westgate as the Leeds City Stompers brought the house down at our weekly 'Saturday Sessions'.

Thanks to Martyn Roper (Guitar/Vocals), Sam Jackson (Double Bass) and Billy Hickling from 'Stomp' the musical (Drums).

We have another cracker this SATURDAY 16 APRIL with the popular Jump Jive & Wail (1.30pm - 3.30pm).

Supported by Brigantes Duo - Harrison Askew and Ebonnie Green (12.00pm - 1.00pm) who are raising funds for the mental health charity The Arch-Way Project

Saturday Sessions off to a flying start!

Westgate's Saturday Sessions got off to a flying start last weekend with the amazing 'Flying High Band'.

Our Saturday Sessions are now running every Saturday throughout Spring and Summer.

New Store Coming to Westgate in June

Due to their great success in The Piece Hall The Chocolate Box Ltd are opening a second store in Westgate Arcade.

Due to open in June, owner, Jackie Rawnsley says "She cannot wait to be part of another thriving Halifax community at Westgate"

Nick Simonet Retires From Revo Records

Westgate Arcade and customers would like to wish Nick Simonet the best of luck in his retirement.

Nick has been in the business since 1987 (35 years!) and 24 years at Westgate Arcade.

New owner Dave Forshaw from Skipton Sound Bar will be taking over the reigns. We welcome Dave and his team to Westgate!

Thursday Night Music at The Kobenhavn

Westgate Arcade is excited to announce that our first Thursday Night Music event - 'Upstairs at the Kobenhavn' begins next week on 10th March (7.30pm - 9.30pm).
