Did you know?!?? That Bottomley’s Opticians at Westgate Arcade used to be the Town Hall before the present Town Hall came into use between 1849 and 1863. It was also the location for W H Smiths as in the old photo below.

The Hospice High Notes will be singing Christmas Carols at Westgate Arcade this Friday 14th December (12.30pm - 2pm). Come and have a sing-a-long and show your support.

Katrina Davi to sing again at Westgate!

Westgate Arcade welcomes back Katrina Davi (ex Stars In Your Eyes finalist) on Saturday 15th December (12.30pm - 2.30pm). Katrina will be singing a selection of songs including some well known Christmas hits.

A great weekend at Westgate!

A bumper weekend at Westgate was a bumper success! Thanks to Friendly Brass Band, Michaelmas Twist, Artifaces, Wise Owl Bird Sanctuary and of course Santa and his elves.

Santa's Grotto is now open!

Santa’s Grotto will be open from Sunday 2nd December (11.00am - 5.00pm) and every Saturday and Sunday until 16th Dec. Then every day from the 17th Dec - 24th December (11.00am - 5.00pm). £5 per child.

Life saving defibrillator installed at Westgate

Westgate Arcade has installed a life saving defibrillator which is located in the passage (opposite La Luna) between the shops and Westgate Arcade Car Park.
